LAHORE Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf met with PCB coach finding committee members here at the PCB headquarters on Wednesday and discussed important issues regarding coaches for all the major departments of cricket. The PCB chief met with coach finding committee members Intikhab Alam and Zaheer Abbas in his office while the third member of the committee Col (retd) Naushad Ali is with the national team in the UAE as a team manager. The PCB chief directed the committee members to find three separate coaches for the batting, bowling and fielding as well as a head coach before the Bangladesh series. During the meeting, Intikhab Alam and Zaheer Abbas updated the chairman on the selection of head coach for national team. Intikhab Alam said that it was decided during the meeting that the board would advertise for batting, bowling and fielding coaches for the national team as well as a head coach and search for suitable candidates to strengthen all the departments. Talking about Zaheer Abbass, Intikhab said Zaheer was not a strong candidate for the coaching job. The committee would try its best to finalise the coaches before Bangladesh series, he added.
