A local court in Lahore on Thursday, directed the police to register cases against the Pakistani cricketers involved in the spot-fixing scandal. According to details, the local court issued order on a petition seeking registration of cases of fraud and corruption against the trio, Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir. Meanwhile, A London court on Thursday has also awarded two and a half year imprisonment to Salman Butt and one year to Muhammad Asif while Muhammad Amir has been sent to Young Offender Institute for six months in cricket corruption case. Mazhar Majeed has been jailed for two years and eight months.
