PESHAWAR - A high level delegation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa led by Chief Minister, KP, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti left for Iran on official visit. The delegation comprised of Senior Provincial Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, KP Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, ACS Atta Ullah Khan, Secretary Industry Khalid Pervez, Secretary Tourism Syed Jamal-ud-Din and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Tariq Jamil. The delegation will look for increased cooperation in industrial and tourism sectors of the both countries and will review chances of Iranian investment in these sectors. Certain agreements are expectedly to be inked in this connection. The delegation will visit Tehran, Asfahan, Sheraz and Qum. The CM will meet Governor Asfahan, Deputy Governor, other officials along with industrialists and investors. Talking to media before his departure, the CM said that Iran is our neighbour and brotherly country and both the countries are linked in decades long trade, culture and historic relations. He said that our Iranian brothers have fully assisted the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in testing times. He said that this official visit of KP delegation will open new means of investment in the province that will benefit the people. He assured security and all possible cooperation to future investment under both public and private sectors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that environment of trust and better neighbourhood among countries of the region was essential for long lasting peace, added, it will benefit people of the entire region. He said that KP govt giving full attention to construction and development of the province and utilization of plentiful capacity available in different sectors in spite of untoward circumstances. He said that great investment opportunities exist in hydropower, minerals, tourism and industry sectors.
