Lahore- Security forces said today that explosive material used by the suicide bomber for Sunday’s blast at Wagah border was transported to the main Pak-India border crossing through a truck.

Experts of the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) said at least 15 kg explosive material was concealed in a truck. A suicide bomber, whose limbs were later found from the scene, carrying the explosives managed to reach at the crowd before blowing himself up near the colorful ceremony at Wagah border. Officials said the body parts of the bomber have been sent for DNA test. A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against unidentified persons for plotting and carrying out the deadly suicide blast that killed at least 59 people.

On the complaint of Pakistan Rangers, the case was lodged with Batapur Police Station under the Section 7 of Anti Terrorism Act 1997, Explosive Act (1884), premeditated murder (Section 302), attempted murder (Section 324), and Section 327 of Pakistan Penal Code.
