Islamabad - Council of Arabic Culture Pakistan (CACP) has started working here in the federal capital.

Talking to the media persons the other day, Abdul Rehman Shams, the chairman of the council, said that CAC was of unique importance and status as it was offering and delivering a number of integrated linguistic and cultural services at one place. He opined that Arabic language being a source of coordination for thoughts and ideology was the lifeline for the Muslims. It is the real ideal way to nurturing love, unity and harmony among Muslims. That’s why, he stressed, Arabic language acts as a fort for Muslims to safeguard their ideological foundations and this is the very reason to lay the foundation stone of Council of Arabic Culture in Pakistan. He further added that council was spending its resources on the invention and development of artificial intelligence technologies for language learning purposes that would be more parallel to humanistic methodologies of teaching and learning Arabic.

The CACP is a multipurpose organisation in the development sector and its founding team included young and educated Pakistani professionals. The council has the mandate to generate pedagogic and research activities in perspectives of Arabic language, history, culture and information technology and to offer a network of a number of welfare activities for citizens of Pakistan.
