ISLAMABAD - K-Electric inflicted a shocking 3-2 defeat on KRL in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) 48th match here at Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex on Sunday. K-Electric took the lead in the 29th minute of the first half through M Rasool. Soon after the start of the second half, Obiyuni doubled his team's lead through a neatly taken free kick in the 52nd minute. KRL did manage to reduce the margin in the 63rd minute when Murtaza scored a goal, but in the 74th minute, M Essa restored two-goal advantage to make it 3-1. In the 93rd minute, KRL’s Abdul Samad once again reduced the lead to 3-2. Army Football Club played out a goalless draw against PIA. Army despite dominating the entire match fails to score and had to settle for a draw.
