KASUR - Dacoits deprived citizens of cash, cellphones and other valuables in different theft and robbery incidents here the other day. They also shot at and injured a citizen for resistance.
According to police, two dacoits intercepted a motorcyclist, Ejaz, near Pattoki Kutchehry. They snatched Rs40,000 from him. They also shot at and injured him for resistance.
In Chunian, three dacoits came to a farm at Kandhun Khara. They snatched Rs15,000 and a cellphone from a man there namely Shahid Naseem. In Pattoki, unidentified thieves broke into the house of Haji Javed Iqbal at Malanwali Chak 34 and made off with Rs60,000 and other valuables. Police registered cases and launched investigation.
