Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) Karachi on Saturday has indicted Muattahida Qaumi Movemnet-Pakistan (MQM-P) leaders Farooq Sattar and others in provocative speech case.
ATC Karachi took up the provocative speech, murder and media houses attack case for hearing today.
During the course of the hearing, suspects Farooq Sattar and others appeared before the court. Court has indicted Farooq Sattar and 60 others in 2 cases.
MQM-P founder made a provocative speech outside Karachi Press Club on August 22, 2016. Suspects in the case played the role of facilitator in the speech and announced to revolt against country’s sovereignty.
He also incited his supporters to attack a private news TV channel. The court, while inquiring suspects remarked, “did you hear that”? on it, suspects pleaded not guilty of the crime. On it, Court remarked, “you should fear from Allah and speak the truth”.
It is vital to mention here that MQM founder while addressing to party workers made a provocative speech on August 22 against state institutions upon which cases had been registered against several party leaders.
