Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz and his brother Salman Shehbaz did not appear before NAB team on Friday in assets beyond means case. A spokesman for NAB said Salman left the country while Hamza sought time to appear because of law and order situation in the city.  “The bureau will chalk out its strategy about Salman soon,” a NAB official said on anonymity. He said that both the brothers were summoned in a case asset beyond means case while earlier they were also summoned in Ramzan Sugar Mills case to record their statements. It is alleged that Rs200 million was spent from national exchequer for the construction of a bridge to facilitate transportation for the sugar mill. Salamn had also appeared in a case of ‘assets beyond means of income’ before NAB few days ago.  Moreover, the bureau had also formed a committee to probe Salman after his father Shehbaz Sharif had declared him a guardian of his financial matters during investigations after his arrest in the Ashiyana Housing scam. Hamza is also appearing before NAB in different cases, including the Punjab Saaf Pani case.
