LAHORE - Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Ahmad Mubeen has claimed that road accidents due to one-wheeling have been controlled in the City. According to a press release issued on Saturday, he said that the City Traffic police made comprehensive arrangements to stop accidents due to wheelie. He said that 13 DSPs, 47 Inspectors and 198 Traffic Wardens had been deployed under the supervision of divisional officers to control one-wheeling. He said that more officers would be deployed at The Mall, Ferozepur Road, Jail Road, Main Boulevard Gulberg, Model Town, Canal Road, Defence Road, Mughalpura Link Road, Garhi Shahu Road, Lahore Cantt, and New Airport Road especially, at Lahore Ring Road to ensure smooth traffic flow in the City during the rush hours.
