LAHORE - Persistent dry weather and lack of winds has caused gradual increase in the mercury level, making weather in the City oppressive. High temperature and humidity caused the Lahorites to sweat profusely in muggy weather throughout the day on Saturday. Experts have forecast the prevailing weather conditions to persist during the next couple of days. On Saturday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 36 degree Celsius and 23 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 73 percent, which decreased to 40 percent in the evening. Nawab Shah, Lasbela and Turbat remained the hottest places in the country where mercury rose as high as 42 C. According to the experts, seasonal low lies over Balochistan with less intensity. Local meteorological department has forecast mainly dry weather for most parts of the country during the next couple of days.
