LAHORE A local lawyer moved an application before the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday praying that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif may permanently be declared disqualified to hold membership of the Parliament on the charges of transferring his assets to foreign countries against national interests. Barrister Javed Iqbal Jafree through the civil miscellaneous (CM) moved in his main petition pending before the court of Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, also says that matter being sensitive in nature may be heard by a five member full bench of the Lahore High Court. Jafree sought permanent disqualification of PML-N chief and return of foreign assets owned by him and other Pakistani politicians. He further accused Dr Babar Awan, Malik Muhammad Qayum, Abdul Hameed Dogar, Sardar Latif Khan Khosa, Wasim Sajjad and Sharif-ud-Din Pirzada of obtaining huge fees and says they all may be fully taxed and penalised for tax evasions. Former president Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari and Ms Fauzia Gillani, wife of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, were also made party in the petition. Earlier, Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry hearing Barrister Jafrees petition had directed federal government to allocate funds for bringing lie detecting machines in Pakistan to conduct tests of politicians who have asset in foreign countries. Barrister Jeffery requested the court to direct federal board of revenue and all anti corruption departments to employ lie detecting machines on all the politicians, bureaucrats and lawyers as they always tell lies to nation even under oath on the Quran.
