QUETTA - DIG Sibi Range Ghulam Shabir Shiekh has said that the number of women killed in Nasirabad tragic incident was three. He was addressing a press conference at Dera Murad Jamali flanked by DPO Nasirabad Ghulam Haider Baloch and DPO Jafarabad Nazir Ahmad. DIG Sibi Range said that after their killing, they were buried without coffin, however, he said that there was no sign that they were buried alive. He said medical team was called from Quetta for the autopsy of bodies and they would be handed over to their heirs after necessary investigation. He said no body, so far had come forward to identify them and added that if they were not identified they would be handed over to Edhi centre. He said police had arrested four accused in this connection and further investigation was continued. He said they had received many threats for not exhuming of bodies of women but police did it and bodies of two women were taken out from a ditch. Responding to a query, he said the number of women killed was not five rather they were three. He said the names of accused would be made public on right time, saying that if their names are disclosed, there is danger of tribal dispute in the area.
