LAHORE - Punjab Minister for Finance and Planning & Development Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has said that terrorists are damaging countrys economy, and present government will overcome this important national issue by curbing this menace. In a statement issued here on Thursday, the minister strongly condemned the bomb blasts during the procession of Youm-e-Shahdat of Hazrat Ali (AS) and termed the blasts a conspiracy against present government. He said extremists wanted to spread anarchy in the country, adding that all political forces will have to work shoulder to shoulder with government in the war against terrorism as well as for the progress and development of the country. He was of the view that war against terrorism could only be won through political stability. He said that terrorists were now targeting innocent people in religious processions and shrines of Sufi saints after getting defeated in the successful operation against them. He said that terrorists want to impose their own agenda but government and law enforcement agencies will not let their conspiracy succeed.
