QUETTA - Four people were killed and another wounded in two separate incidents of firing and landmine blast in Mastung and Dera Bugti on Friday. In the first incident, unidentified people opened indiscriminate fire on Abdul Nabi and Abdul Ghaffar in Dasht area of Mastung. As a result, both sustained critical wounds and succumbed to their injuries. The assailants managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime. Levies Force moved the bodies to a hospital for autopsy and handed them over to the heirs after completing legal formalities. Motive behind the killings is yet to be ascertained. In another incident, two people were killed in a landmine blast in Dera Bugti. Sources said, three people were on their in Pelowgh area of Dera Bugti when one of them stepped on a landmine laid by unknown people. Resultantly, the mine exploded killing two people on the spot while another received injuries. The injured and dead were shifted to nearby hospital. Law enforcement agencies rushed to the site after the blast and cordoned off the area.
