RAHIMYAR KHAN/ SADIQABAD The political and business clash between former district nazim and provincial president of PML-Functional Makhdoom Ahmad Mahmood and former federal minister Jahangir Khan Tareen has intensified. The clash came to light when Makhdoom Ahmad Mahmood refused permission to a plane of Jahangir Tareen to land in Jamaludin Wali, and Tareen responded with approaching a top gun in the province and get police deployed at Jamaludin Wali Sugar Mills and United Sugar Mills. Both the political stalwarts are at odds with each other for last six months over some business matters. Makhdoom is supporting Bahawalpur province, while Tareen is running a campaign for Saraiki province. However, it has been learnt that some influential circles have come into action to repair the strained ties between the two political heavyweights.
