MARDAN - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said that they do not believe in only making big slogans and fake announcements, rather they do what they say and they prove it.

“We gave due rights to Mardan district, because Mardan was very badly ignored in the past,” he added. He expressed these views while addressing public meetings after inauguration of different schemes in different union councils of his provincial constituency PK-23 and PK-25.

Provincial vice president engineer Abbas Khan, district president Farooq Akram Khan, general secretary Imran Manduri, member national assembly (MNA) Himayatullah Mayar, member provincial assembly (MPA) Ghani Dad Khan, former MNA Haji Naseem ur Rehman Khan and other high-ups of the district were also present.

The Chief Minister added that during the current financial year 93 kilometers new roads will be constructed on the cast of 1 arad 36 corer rupees.

He said that like Mardan in other parts of the province developmental works is in progress.

The Chief Minister said that no compromise would be made on material used in developmental works.

He told the people to check the materials used in developmental works and if anyone uses substandard materials stop work and inform the concerned authorities.

The Chief Minister also announced Rs 3 crore for the reconstruction and maintenance of mosques of PK 30. 

The Chief Minister also announced Rs 10 crore for developmental works of PK 25. He spent Saturday and Sunday in his home district and also met with people at his house. 

Meanwhile addressing at a meeting at his residence, Hoti House, Chief Minister said that it is his wish and purpose to provide modern and better health facilities to the masses of Mardan so that they may not go to Peshawar and other cities of the country for treatment.

Problems faced by the people in district headquarter (DHQ) hospital Mardan including deficiency of staff, medicine were also discussed and in this connection Chief Minister has called meeting of high-ups of health department at Peshawar during this week.

During his stay in Mardan, the Chief Minister also visited different mosques of the City where maintenance and construction works is in progress.
