SADIQABAD - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazlur Rehman) Punjab Ameer Rasheed Ahmad Ludhianvi held PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif responsible for divided opposition.

Flanked by JUI-F Sadiqabad tehsil President Abdul Samad and Secretary General Hafiz Saeed, the JUI-F Punjab leader was addressing a press conference at Jamia Rashidia, Sadiqabad.

Mr Rasheed said that the JUI-F was a party of honest leaders. "Those opposing the restoration of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Aml will have to face the music at last.

The JUI-F will never support North Waziristan operation at all costs," he said.

The religious-cum-political party leader said that the Army chief should take steps against the drone attacks in Pakistan, adding that the latter had full powers in this regard.

He observed that implementation of judicial decision was necessary however, also judges should keep quiet.

Mufti Rasheed noted that under the leadership of the PPP, the "beggars" were united but the opposition was not and the country was faced with crises.

He said that the rulers had been sucking the masses' blood for the last 64 years, adding that his was the poor's party wherein there was no landlord and feudal lord. He said that the restoration of Nato supply to Afghanistan was negation of the parliamentary resolution. He said that his party would contest the forthcoming general elections.

To a question regarding the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, he said that it was the relic of past now.

He regretted that the people of Punjab did not vote for the JUI but criticise it a lot. On the occasion, Zubair Ahmad Farooqi, Ismaeel Farooqi and Akram Siddiqi were also present. Earlier, Mufti Rahseed condoled the death of Maulana Abdul Samad and prayed for the departed soul.
