WARBURTON - On the directives of the Punjab chief minister, all the teachers and students of Government Model School Warburton took out a rally from Town Committee to the school in collaboration with Tehsil Municipal Administration Nankana Sahib against dengue.
A large number of banners were displayed in the school while handbills and pamphlets distributed to the participants of the rally for creating awareness.
The rally started with Holy name of Allah where Hafiz Muhammad Faiz Rasul recited some verses from the Holy Qur'an while Ghulam Haider recited Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH).
Convener of the rally was Senior Headmaster Javed Ashraf. Guest of Honour Mian Jamil Ahmad emphasised the need for cleanliness while Amjad Hussain stressed to eliminate breeding grounds of dengue virus.
Dawood Ahmad Khan called for removing water reservoirs, keeping washrooms and Wazoo places dry in mosques also.
