ANP urges PM not to resign

Islamabad- Zahid Khan, a senior ANP leader, today urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif not to resign as it would be an insult to the constitution.
Speaking at a joint session of the Parliament to discuss the prevailing political crisis, Zahid said that they are supporting the government to uphold the supremacy of the constitution.
“We urge you (the prime minister) not to resign,” he said but requested the government to improve its working.
He said that conspiracies are being hatched against the 18th constitutional amendment that guarantees rights for smaller provinces. Zahid claimed that the establishment has not accepted the 18th amendment. He asked the government to give due respect to the Parliament. ANP leader said that he salutes dissident PTI leader Javed Hashmi.
