LAHORE - PTI workers thrashed a traffic warden at The Mall Road on Tuesday evening. Police said that the PTI workers attacked a traffic warden, shortly after he stopped three motorcyclists for violating the traffic signal at The Mall. The workers thrashed the cop as he tried to issue challan ticket to the violators.
The PTI workers staged demonstration against the police and also chanted slogans against the government. 
On the other hand, the PTI workers claimed that the clash broke out after the traffic warden stopped them from moving towards Lalik Jan Chowk to join sit-in.
Later, the traffic policeman reached the concerned police station and filed an application for registration of a criminal case against the PTI workers. However, no case was registered till filing of this report.
