LAHORE On 23rd day of operation clean up, anti-encroachment teams of nine towns of City District Government Sunday covered over 30 kilometre area of the city and demolished as many as 100 ramps 65 stairs, 46 sheds and removed 6 signboards. During the operation, Wahga Town covered about three kilometre area of Jallo More and shifted one truckload of moveable encroached items in the warehouse while officials of Shalamar Town covered two kilometre area from New Shadbagh to Jajpura Ground and New Shadbagh Chouk to Ayub Road and demolished 75 ramps, 10 stairs, 40 shades and removed 4 signboards, Data Ganj Bakhsh Town cleared 3.5 kilometre area of Lunda Bazaar, Lakshmi Chouk, McLeod Road, Circular Road, Hall Road, Urdu Bazaar, Gunpat Road, Anarkali, Neela Gumbad, Litton Road, Jain Mandar, Choburji and Shamnagar Chouk from encroachments. Teams of Ravi Town cleared about 6 kilometre area of GT Road Shahdra and demolished 3 stairs and 1 ramp with shifting 4 truckloads of encroached items while officials of Samanabad Town cleared 3 kilometre area from Band Road to Babusabu Interchange and demolished 20 ramps, 4 makeshift shops, 50 stairs and 5 shades with removing 2 signboards whereas Gulberg Town cleared 0.6 kilometre area of Makka Colony and Guru Mangat Road and demolished 5 ramps, 1 wall, 3 makeshift shops and 2 stairs from their jurisdiction during operation.
