The repatriation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) hailing from Bajaur and Mohmand agencies has been scheduled to commence on April 11. According to a private TV, these IDPs are in refuge at Jalozai and Benazir camps in Nowshera. As per a notification issued by Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), these IDPs are more than 50,000 in number and the scheduled process is expected to last till May 20. The IDPs would also be provided with free transport, camps, cattle and ration for two years during the process, it said. A number of registration points would be set up for their assistance, the notification further stated.
