RAWALPINDI - Controller of Examinations Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) Muhammad Nisar Tuesday retired from the services upon reaching his superannuation.
He joined Barani Agriculture College as Assistant Professor and served this institution for more than 36 years. Currently he was working as Controller Examination more than a decade. He carried a very rich experience of University administration, examination and teaching. He also worked as Deputy Registrar, Registrar. He is equally respected amongst the administration, faculty, staff and the students for his ever helping and respective behaviour towards all the people.
Meanwhile, striving to provide facilities to its residents, the Cantonment Board Rawalpindi has decided to commence water supply to Dhok Gujaran and inhabitants of Chakara this week.
Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, Rana Manzoor Ahmad Khan said that delay in the water supply to the said areas was due to unavailability of pumping machine while water will be supplied this week.
The CEO said that cantt board is not facing water shortage but 12 hours unannounced load shedding is the main reason of water shortage in some of its parts. He said that they are trying their best to provide basic amenities to the residents including water on priority basis, adding that strategy was being made to ensure provision of water to rural areas in the jurisdiction of Cantt Board. He urged the inhabitants to pay taxes and bills before due date so that the authorities could ensure facilities in return.
