LAHORE - The new generation should study the Two Nation Theory, Pakistan Movement, Iqbal’s Khutba-i-Alabad, Quaid’s March 1940 Lahore address and heroes of the freedom movement. The country should unite against the prevailing challenges in order to progress. The Nazaria-i-Pakistan (NPT) Vice Chairman Dr Rafique Ahmad expressed these views while addressing the students of Punjab University Institute of Education and Research (IER) on Tuesday.

Dr Rafique Ahmad on the occasion said that Punjab University was a great institution that once had Hindu teachers who left Pakistan at the time of partition. But the teachers from other parts of the country filled the gap, he added. Talking about NPT Rafique said that the chief objective of the trust was to create awareness among students about the history of Pakistan Movement.

Talking about death of Quad-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, martyrdom of first Premier of Pakistan and sacking of Khwaja Nazimuddin by Governor General Ghulam Muhammad, Rafique said that the country was grasped by self-centered people who knew nothing about purposes of creation of Pakistan. He also cited example of Peoples Republic China and the inception of great revolution of Mao Tse-tung.
