Pakistan’s former ambassador to the United States Hussain Haqqani expressed his inability to appear before the commission, investigation memogate scandal for health reasons.

Through a plea moved on Wednesday by his lawyer, Sajid Tanoli, Hussain Haqqani regretted that he would not be able to appear before the commission on Thursday due to health problems.

The plea said that Haqqani was suffering from a heart disease and was undergoing medical treatment in the US. It should be mentioned that Supreme Court had removed Haqqani’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL) on the condition that he would appear before the commission on three-days notice.
