Police launch hunt for acid-thrower





LAHORE – City police have begun investigations to nab the assailant who threw acid on a girl near a market in Shahdara area and fled away, police sources said on Tuesday.
Police investigators said that resident of Bhutto Colony, Robina Bibi, was coming back after shopping when unidentified motorcyclist intercepted her near her residence.
The youth threw acid on face of the girl late on Monday night and fled away. The girl was rushed to a local hospital in serious condition.
 The police have registered the case on the complaint of Muhammad Imran, brother of the girl and are investigating with no arrest made so far.
