ISLAMABAD Chief Justice of Supreme Court Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took suo moto notice on a press clipping of TheNation dated August 02, carrying the appeal of a widow seeking the CJ help to arrest her sons killers. The news item intimated that widows son Shahzad was a taxi driver, who was killed by some unknown people who hired his taxi for Mandra, Chakwal on the day of murder. It was further reported that the FIR had been lodged against unknown killers but she was not satisfied with the investigations carried out by the police so, she made an appeal to the CJ for justice. Taking the notice, the CJ ordered the IG Punjab to submit a report of the matter on August 20.
