79% of Pakistanis have lost hope in the current governments ability to improve peoples lives: Gallup Poll

The results of a Gilani Research Foundation survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan indicated that vast majority (79%) of Pakistanis have lost hope in the current governments ability to improve peoples lives; 39% say they have none; 40% say they have very little. In a survey, a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces were asked what are the chances of current government policies and programs improving the lives of the people of Pakistan? A clear majority (79%) expressed little hope in the ability of the policies and programs of the current government to improve peoples life and welfare. A smaller number (20%) thought the government could succeed in doing this. 1% either did not know or chose not to respond.
