OUR STAFF REPORTER JHANG - One person was killed while two others were injured in separate incidents here on Wednesday. In the first Incident, one Fakhar Abbas, an 12-year-old resident of Mohalla Hasnana, drowned in floodwater just inside Jhang protective embankment. Fakhar, who worked at a tea shop, was going the other side of the protective bund but drowned. People of the area tried their level best to save his life but could not succeed. in the second incident, acid was thrown on one Shahnaz and her minor son Muhammad Adnan by some unknown persons when both mother and son were sleeping in their house in Mouza Pabberwala in Shah Jewna police area. Both received serious injuries and were admitted to DHQ Hospital Jhang. According to available details one Ghulam Muhammad, a farmer, was watering crop in his field at night when some unknown people entered his house and thrown acid on his sleeping wife and son.
