OUR STAFF REPORTER JHANG - Despite setting up nine Sasta Ramzan bazaars, the district and tehsil administrations have failed in regulating prices of essential commodities. According to a survey conducted, 20 to 35 percent increase in the price of fruit, vegetable, dates other daily use items was witnessed. Majority of shopkeepers and vendors were selling items exorbitant prices. Some of them blamed that the stockiest were in the process of hoarding most of the items with a view to reap high profit. Moreover, quality of these items is poor in Ramazan bazaars as compared to those in open market.
