LAHORE Two people were murdered in as many incidents in different parts of the City, police said on Wednesday. A 40-year-old trader was tortured to death by a factory owner and his staff in Chuhng police area. Police said that Waqas along with his three accomplices badly tortured Muhammad Nazir inside his Pak Star Auto Factory. The factory owner exchanged harsh words with the trader over the sale of old-tyres. He got infuriated and hit Nazir in the head with an iron rod. Nazir was rushed to a local hospital, where he died later. The police have registered the murder case on the complaint of Muhammad Hafeez, brother of the deceased. The police have also removed the body to the morgue for autopsy and are investigating. In another incident, Liaqat Ali stabbed his younger brother Imran to death over property dispute in Nawan Kot police area. Police investigators said that both the brothers exchanged hot words over property dispute at their house situated in Kot Kumboh. The elders repeatedly stabbed the younger and fled away from the crime scene. Imran was rushed to a local hospital but died in the way. The police are investigating.
