ISLAMABAD- Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shah Mehmood Qureshi today said his party is united and it is not divided on the issue of tendering resignations from assemblies.

Talking to media, he ruled out any possible rebellion within his party over the matter of resignation from assemblies. Earlier in the day, Federal Information Minister, Parvez Rashid, claimed that the issue of PTI lawmakers’ resignations would create chaos and rebellion within its ranks.

“Parvaiz Rashid should represent his party, and not the PTI . There will be no rebellion within our party,” said Qureshi in response to Federal Minister remarks. He claimed that PTI workers would not ransack any public property during the August 14 Long March but PML-N government is responsible for protection of lives and properties of people. The responsibility does not lie with Imran Khan, he mentioned.
