Rulers fail to maintain security even in Islamabad: Sirajul Haq

PESHAWAR- Ameer Jamaat-i-Islmai (JI) Sirajul Haq today said the government cannot maintain peace in the federal capital of Islamabad, how can it bring peace in rest of the country.

In a press conference, JI Ameer said handing over security of Islamabad to the army is not prudent decision of the government. “Imposing act 245 is a huge political mistake,” he said.

He said every party has right to protest and it is not against the constitution therefore Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should not be barred to protest on August 14.

Sirajul Haq said that the PML-N government should act wisely and not create hindrances in the PTI’s Azadi March.

The JI Ameer also said that his party is not in favor of dissolving the KPK assembly as it is the people’s decision. However, it is the prerogative of every party to resign from assemblies or not, he added.
