The game of electric power

In developed countries, the government is responsible for providing many basic things such as clean drinking water, education and electricity. The Pakistani government does not feel the need for all this; after all we are not a developed country, so our people should not expect all this. If this had been a developed country, the public would have hanged them from poles and stripped them of all their personal wealth. The truth is that the government could have provided cheap solar panels, or produced them in Pakistan, so that we could all have enjoyed electricity, but they imposed around 35% to 40% customs duty and tax on components of solar power. Governments try to facilitate their people at their own expense but ours has taken every leave, comfort, and even necessity, from us. The people started challenging the writ of the Government by having their own small solar power sets so it is expected that the government will soon make all solar energy producing machinery declared as ‘Contraband and Prohibited’ items. There is a need to save Pakistan from such anti-state people.
