Islamabad: Pakistan has released one hundred and sixty-three Indian fishermen to India via Wagah Border.

In a statement, the foreign office spokesperson Qazi Khalil Ullah said release of Indian fishermen is a gesture of good will between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Indian Prime Minister Modi. The matter of release of Indian prisoners was resolved as per human rights, which entitles each person the right of freedom.

Qazi Khalil Ullah however, hopes that India would do the same for the Pakistani prisoners who have completed their sentences and ensure mutually aspired good relations between the two countries.
