Premier League Preview - Norwich City

Team: Norwich City

Key players:

Nathan Redmond
The England U-21 star has been the breakout player for Norwich City. In Redmond, Norwich have a ball-carrying match-winner who will be a handful to contain, and the team as a whole are guaranteed to play with energy and enthusiasm. Redmond is the type of player around whom Alex Neil can build a team. Governor general of the midfield, Redmond was mainly involved in the slick passing move and build-up towards the all important goal against Middlesbrough that ensured their promotion.

• Alexander Tettey
Alex Tettey has been the hub of the Norwich midfield. His physicality and on-point passing makes him a useful player for both club and country. Along with being a powerhouse, Tettey also has experience on his side having made over 90 appearances for the Canaries since joining in 2012. Alex Tettey will be partnered by newly-signed seasoned campaigner, Youssouf Mulumbu. Tettey sat behind a quintet of attack-minded players in a 4-1-4-1 formation that brought plenty of success to Norwich, last season.

Summary:
Norwich City have the pedigree required to finish comfortably above the relegation zone. Manager Alex Neil is relatively inexperienced in comparison to other Premier League managers, but has managed to succeed at Norwich. He brings into the team a balance between aggressive and strategic football. Norwich City have opted for experience over everything else by permanently signing Graham Dorrans and bringing in Youssouf Mulumbu and Robbie Brady for the all important midfield role. The problem for Norwich lies in their attack which is subpar considering Premier League standards. Cameron Jerome, Ricky Van Wolfswinkel and Gary Hooper have all struggled to find the net with consistency and that would be a strong factor if they finish in the lower bottom half.

Predicted position: 15th
