ROJHAN- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Monday strongly criticised the ruling PML-N leadership for poor response to flood devastation.
Speaking to flood affected people in Rojhan, Khan said that Sharif brothers are reigning Punjab from their throne in Lahore, showing complete apathy towards remote areas of the province.He said the government did not take any measures to avert damage in flood affected Rahim Yar Khan and Rojhan. “There should be a will, not money to protect peasants who have been afflicted during the last two years,” he said.
Khan said the government was focusing on projects like Metro bus instead of building embankments to prevent floods. “Perhaps metro bus projects offer more kickbacks than building embankments? he questioned.Speaking on the occasion, the PTI chief expressed resolved to fight for the rights and needs of common Pakistani.
