SP, 2 SHOs injured in clash with protesters on child molestation case

KASUR: A superintendent of police and two station house officers (SHOs) were injured in clash between victim families and police near Daulaywala Chowk today. 

The protesters from Kasur were demanding action against the accused involved in molestation of children.

They pelted the police with stones when they were stopped from leaving for Lahore. Tension gripped the area after the incident.

Later, the police resorted to baton charge and tear gas. As a result, some protesters were also injured.
