Famous Pakistani playback singer, late Akhlaq Ahmad is being remembered on his 22nd death anniversary. 

According to the details, Akhlaq Ahmad sang nearly 117 songs in 86 films between 1973 to 1998.

Moreover, he performed many superhit songs that are still recognized in Pakistani singing industry. Renowned songs such as Sona na Chandi na koi Mehal from the film Bandish in 1980 and Sawan Aye Sawan jaye in the film Chahat in 1974 were sung by him.

He died on 4th Aug 1999 in London after a long fight with a  lethal disease of blood cancer.
