PESHAWAR - At least, nine suspects were arrested while a suicide jacket and arms were recovered in police raids in different areas of DI Khan on Friday. Police conducted a search operation in the jurisdiction of Police Station Saddar, New Town and Nawab area and arrested nine suspected persons, besides in similar raids, a suicide jacket and arms were recovered including a Klashnikove, two pistols and explosives. In the wake of Muharram-ul-Haram, law enforcement agencies have taken extraordinary security measures in order to avoid any untoward incident. In this connection, more police force has been deployed while checking in and around the city has also been increased.
