Dengue takes 3 more lives

LAHORE The ruthless dengue virus put to sword three more people including one woman in the City on Saturday, taking the death toll to 372. Besides taking lives of three patients in a day, the deadly virus forced dozens of lahorites to approach public sector hospitals and private healthcare centres for preliminary tests, confirming 21 new cases. Nabeel Niazi (19), a resident of Samanabad, lost his battle of life with the deadly virus at Fatima Memorial Hospital, Iqra (18) of Sanda at Mayo Hospital while Muhammad Amjad (40) of Cantonment died at Services Hospital. Out of 21 new cases, 05 were tested positive at Mayo Hospital, 03 at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and 01 each at Services Hospital and Jinnah Hospital while 11 were reported from private healthcare centres in the City.
