TOBA TEK SINGH - A brick-kiln worker was allegedly forced to stay naked for three hours openly on kiln when he demanded wages as per governments fixed rate of Rs517 per 1,000 bricks. Complainant worker Haq Nawaz of Chak 304 JB stated in an application to DPO that he was being given just Rs200 per 1,000 bricks and when he insisted to give actual wages, kiln owner Muhammad Akbar overpowered and naked him. Labour leader Tariq Mahmood has condemned the incident and demanded registration of case against accused. 'Sacrifices of martyrs will not go waste: Okara Army Station Headquarters Colonel Officer Commandant Muhammad Asif has said that sacrifices of martyrs will not go waste and days were near when terrorists will be eliminated from the motherland. After burial of an army man Zahid Javed, who was killed in Kurram Agency in fight against terrorists, in Chak 374 JB on Saturday, he added that martyr Zahid was a brave soldier. AC Mushtaq Naich also attended his funeral prayer.
