OUR STAFF REPORTER KARACHI - The parliament is supreme than all other institutions in the country, said Sindh Minister for Information Shazia Marri while addressing a news conference at PPP Media Cell on Saturday. Accompanied by PPP leader Taj Haider, Marri alleged that the PML-N had ruled the country with dishonesty due to which the people were facing the menace of electricity loadshedding and public sector organisations were faced with financial difficulties. She said that President Asif Ali Zardari was an elected president and the people would not accept any unconstitutional step against the government. Marri said the PPP respected all the institutions as taught by its leaders Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. She further said that the slogan of democracy was introduced by the PPP and it would continue working for democracy in the country. Taj Haider said that Nawaz Sharif had orchestrated an attack on the Supreme Court. He criticised Nawaz Sharif, saying the people would not allow him to go on with his particular mindset that was detrimental to democracy.
