Our Staff Reporter PESHAWAR Condemning the Nato attack in Mohmand Agency, PML-N staged a protest demonstration on Saturday and called upon the government to affectively respond to any aggression in future. Led by Sattar Khan Khalil, president PML-N district Peshawar, Khadim Ali Yusufzai, central information secretary, Youth Wing, president MPL-N city district Malak Zulfiqar, Arshad Qureshi, Sharafat Ali Mubarak and PML-N provincial Women Wing president Shaheen Habibullah in the protest outside Peshawar Press Club, they severely castigated Nato air strikes in Mohmand Agency, killing 24 soldiers and injuring 13 others. The PML-N workers were chanting full-throated slogans against the US and Nato. They said the government should respond to Nato attacks in future with full force. They said Pakistan was a sovereign state and the international community must respect its integrity. They warned that Pakistan should not be considered as Iraq or Afghanistan, as its 180 million people would stand shoulder-to-shoulder by Pakistan Army against any aggression. They alleged that the PPP-led government was following the policies of the former dictator Pervez Musharraf, due to which Pakistan had been getting weakened day-by-day. They said Pakistan would not have been in crises, if the resolution passed by the parliament regarding countrys sovereignty and war on terror two years back was implemented in letter and spirit. The protestors later peacefully dispersed. Mohmand Agency - Terming Nato strike on Salala check post an attack on Pakistans sovereignty, Jamiat Tulba-e-Islam (JTI) urged the government to take concrete measures to protect the frontiers of the country. In a press statement issued by JTI nazim, Peshawar division, Haroon Khan said the government should not allow Nato supplies passage through Pakistan, as it violated Pakistans sovereignty. He said it was a right time to revisit Pakistans foreign policy.
