ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Manifesto Committee has finalised its recommendation with the main focus to give a workable solution to the problems confronting the country with focus to give due attendance to the issues of all the segments of society. Talking to TheNation, central leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Sidiqul Farooq informed that the manifesto committee of the party comprised both politicians and technocrats to come up with a formidable, all encompassing and workable programme to steer the nation out of the prevailing crises. He said that while jolting down the recommendations the committee members had kept in mind that only those promises and claims in the party manifesto could be made which the party could put in practice when their party would come in power as they did not believe in making false promises which they could not be fulfilled. The meeting, chaired by the committee head Sartaj Aziz, and all the members including Senator Ishaq Dar, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan Abbasi, Zahid Hamid, Nuzhat Amir, Abdul Qadir Baloch, Khurram Dastgir Khan, Anusha Rehman Khan, Chaudhry Jaffer Iqbal, Mamnoon Hussain, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed and Siddiqul Farooq in attendance gave final touches to the recommendations. Sources in the party informed that the committee had recommended special programmes and plans for youth and to reorganise the youth and student wings with the aim to attract youth. Special emphasis was laid on wooing youth in the party fold was made keeping in view the tilt of youth toward Imran Khan, the sources said and added that it was the area where the party was not having an elaborate programme so this shortcoming in the partys manifesto was filled. The meeting finalised its recommendations for the new manifesto, which will be presented to the PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for onward approval and its presentment before the related authorized forums of the party.
