KARACHI -  Pakistan Billiards and Snooker association (PBSA) will unroll red carpet to welcome newly crowned world amateur snooker champion M Asif who won the coveted crown in Sofia Bulgaria on Sunday night, on his arrival in the wee hours of Tuesday morning along with the other members of the Pakistan team.

The PBSA are making elaborate arrangements to receive the new snooker hero who made the country proud by taking the world title. This is second time that a Pakistani has won the prestigious IBSF title in which 120 players from across the globe participated. As the event is an amateur event there is no prize money but according to information a token prize money is given to the winner.

The PBSA should share the credit along with the new champion for the honour that has been bestowed on Pakistan. The PBSA be praised for the promotion of the sports all over the country and for its  unflinching faith in the youngsters.
