LAHORE - Punjab government spokesman Zaeem Qadri tendered apology over the manhandling of this matter. Speaking to a private TV channel, Qadri said that five policemen were suspended for manhandling the protestors. He, however, denied police used baton charge to crush the protest. He said that an inquiry was launched against the policemen involved in the unfortunate incident. "We apologise for this incident, which should not have happened," he told media.
