Vintage and classic car show was organized at royal palm with the support of vintage and classic car club of Pakistan. The show was organized with the support of INH Pakistan’s biggest independent auto shop. At the event more than seventy vintage and classic cars from all across Pakistan were showcased, some coming all the way from Karachi and are now heads on to Khyber via Islamabad.Mini coopers, BMW’s, Cadillac’s, Fiats, Mustangs were at display, from kids to adult, everyone was taking picture as this unique show was amusing and thrilling.

VCCP president Mohsin Akram said the club has been organizing vintage car shows from last 12 years in Karachi. He further said we organize such kinds of events to give awareness to people about vintage cars. A vintage car is in the most general sense an old automobile, and in the narrower sense of car enthusiast and collectors, it is a car from period 1919 to 1930.

“Maha Tahir who is a student of BNU was taking pictures of these unique cars. She said “We used to enjoy sight of such cars in movies, pictures and on the Internet. I am elated to be part of the festival of cars.”

These cars don’t deserve to be scraping. These cars should be restored and allow other people to share in our love for these cars. Organizing such event of vintage cars promote a positive image of Pakistan.

For the average person, car collecting is a hobby. Finding an antique car at an affordable price is not hard but can be relatively expensive depending on the condition or the desired end result. Businessmen maintain their vintages car as a hobby and the owner of such unique cars don’t trust anyone with their cars.
