QUETTA - Another polio case surfaced in the provincial capital Quetta on Thursday after which tally has mounted to five.
Coordinator Emergency Centre, Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman said a two-year-old child hailing from Eastern Bypass area of Quetta was found affected with polio virus after which number of polio cases detected in the district during the ongoing year has climbed to five.
He said that the parents of the affected child had refused to vaccinate him during the anti-polio immunisation campaigns held across the district during recent months.
